梁國良博士早年畢業於香港大學,獲社會工作學學士及輔導學碩士,其後於印度及美國完成心理學碩士及心理學博士學位,並持有沙維雅模式專業輔導證書。他擁有超過25年輔導個人、夫婦及家庭經驗。他是一位臨床創傷學家及註冊創傷治療師,專長處理童年創傷及重大壓力事件,亦善於運用研究為本方法,有效協助夫婦處理溝通和衝突問題。

梁博士於2000年創辦家庭大學,推動香港明愛、香港公教婚姻輔導會及香港家庭福利會善用社會資源,造福家庭,曾獲傳媒廣泛報導。當他攜伴於2009-2014年在印
度班加羅爾參與跨文化工作時,他獲印度城市事工中心委任為家庭教育及研究所之榮譽總監,提供輔導服務及培訓工作。他於2015-2022年期間加入香港癌症基金會,發展以家庭為本的服務項目。他現時為香港國際主僕會的義務輔導顧問。

梁博士多年來運用創意有效幫助受身心問題困擾人士提升生活質素,其成就已獲本地機構及國際專業組織認可。經他主理的全人發展項目包括「走步治療對心肺功能及正向心理的療效」、「歸心祈禱對情緒困擾及心靈開放的效益」、「足部反射治療及身心鬆弛法對痛症管理的正面作用」,有關研究結果曾獲國際期刊發表。他將繼續致力踐行合乎道德倫理及實證為本的專業服務。

Dr. Tommy K. Liang has been working with individuals, couples, and families for over 25 years. He is a clinical traumatologist (TITC-CT) and registered EMDR therapist, specializing in the treatment of adverse childhood experiences and critical incidents. He is also a Gottman Method Couples Therapy practitioner with successful completion of Level 3 Practicum Training. He earned the Doctor of Psychology in Pastoral Logotherapy from Graduate Theological Foundation, USA. He also holds postgraduate degrees in Psychology and Counselling after receiving the Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Hong Kong. He has also completed a Professional Certificate in Satir Systemic Individual and Family Therapy.

Tommy was one of the founders of Family University, a joint project with Caritas-Hong Kong, Catholic Marriage Advisory Council, and Hong Kong Family Welfare Society in 2000-2004. He was the honorary director of Family Research and Training Institute, Urban India Ministries, India for the year 2009-2014, when he and his wife were commissioned as cross-cultural workers in Bangalore. Tommy had been involved in oncology counselling at Hong Kong Cancer Fund since 2015 and was later promoted to Service Manager. He is currently a member care advisor to Interserve-Hong Kong.

Tommy is creative and integrative in his practice. His first monograph, “The Theory and Practice of Running Therapy” was published in the book titled Solid Practice IV Mental Health Service (Caritas Social Work Services Division, 2009). This research adapted for cancer patients was subsequently accepted by the 2016 World Congress of Psycho-Oncology and was published as an abstract in Psycho-Oncology. Both “Centering Prayer” as an alternative to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and the role of self-help “Foot Reflexology” as an integrative Body-Mind-Spirit model were presented in the 2021 World Congress pf Psycho-Oncology and published as abstracts in Journal of Psychosocial Oncology Research and Practice. He is committed to ethical and evidence-based practice.
